As the apostle Paul was signing off in his letter to the Corinthian church, he said in I Corinthians 16:13, Be alert, stand firm in the faith, act like a man, be strong.

In I Samuel 13:14 Samuel told Saul, ...the Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart.

The desire of Men's Ministries is to equip the men of Bridgeway to fulfill the biblical mandate of Colossians 1:28, "We proclaim Him, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone complete in Christ." Our goal is to see God raise up strong men of faith - encouraging one another and teaching one another in the wisdom of His Word, not only that "we may present everyone complete in Christ," but also to equip men young and old to ...be an example to the believers, in word, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." - I Timothy 4:12

Towards this goal, several "Man2Man" Bible studies meet throughout the week on various days and hours. It is through the study of God's Word together that As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17
